Eco Runners started on April 2018, as an alternative solution to clean while training or plogging.  The group was conscious of the need to get involved in the cleaning of the open spaces they use for training and promoting it to a larger crowd.  A local movement was created that has spread from La Sabana to the whole country.

Eco Runners are fond of plogging while running or walking and have also participate in reforestations and cleanup activities and campaigns, providing talks related to environmental management. This group is now active not only in Costa Rica but other countries in Latin America, as well as Europe.
